The exterior Black Mystic stone installation is slowly nearing completion.
The Deonian Stone stair treads finally arrived this week. Leister of Atlas Flooring was kind enough to allow us to receive the 15,000 lbs of stone at his warehouse.
Roy & Todd transported smaller loads up to the house over the next 2 days - no need to go to the gym to lift weights for guys on this job.
Jeff is sanding down the landing so it is nice and flat for the Devonian stone pieces.
Meanwhile Zane is installing the stair stringers.
Tony and Pedro of TLR & Associates are our Devoninan istallers. The first stair tread is in.
These feet will receive the glass railing on the Great Room deck.
The dining room beams are up.
These entry beams have been built out to mirror each other and will soon be clad in black mystic stone to match the exterior.
Wrapped and meshed and ready for stone!
The entry elevator mechanism has been installed.
The pantry has enough storage shelving to satisfy even the biggest pack rat.

It was another productive, busy week on the job. The masons are continuing with the installation of the black mystic stone.
After a number of heavy rains, Roy & Jeff uncovered the decks to prevent molding. The Ipe still looks perfect.
Many of the exterior sconces have been installed.
All of the outside stairs and decks are now finished and ready for railing.
This week Kristen worked on the Great Room fireplace surround.
It's almost finished.
The Schluter edge on the corners proved to be the best look with the Stick Nepal stone.
The Anamosa limestone wall at the wine cellar is looking closer to finished.
Roy covered the kitchen cabinets to prevent damage during stone floor and appliance installation.
These are the Devonian stone tiles that will cover the kitchen floor
